2. Accessing the website

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server log data. This can include IP address, time of access, requested file, referrer, browser/device information and HTTP status. Processing is necessary for secure and reliable website delivery and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Order form

When you use the order form, the information you enter is processed to review the order, answer questions, determine availability and shipping, and prepare an order confirmation and, where applicable, an invoice.

In particular, the following data is processed:

• customer type and, where applicable, company name,
• first and last name, e-mail address and optional phone number,
• street, postal code, city and country,
• selected products, quantities and configuration information,
• preferred delivery method and comments/custom requests,
• technical metadata for abuse and spam prevention; the form handler only retains the IP address as a hash.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is required for pre-contractual measures or contract handling. Where statutory retention or documentation duties apply, processing is additionally based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Order e-mail and internal order processing

Form data is sent by e-mail to order@ventares.eu. The order e-mail also contains a structured summary of selected items for internal VENTARES order processing. No automatic payment is taken through the form.

5. Recipients

Data is disclosed only where necessary for order/contract handling or where another legal basis applies. Depending on the order this can include hosting/e-mail providers, banking/payment providers, shipping and logistics providers, accounting/tax advisers and competent authorities.

6. Retention

Orders that do not result in a contract are retained only as long as needed for processing, queries and reasonable documentation purposes. Data from concluded orders and invoices is retained in accordance with applicable commercial and tax-law retention obligations.

7. Embedded YouTube video

The product page contains a TAIPAN flight video hosted by YouTube. It is implemented as a click-to-load integration: no YouTube iframe is loaded simply by visiting the page. Only after you explicitly click “Load video from YouTube” is a connection made to YouTube/Google and the video embedded via youtube-nocookie.com.

From that point, YouTube/Google may process technical data such as IP address, device/browser information and details of the page request; if you are signed in to a Google account, association with that account may be possible. VENTARES does not fully control this processing by the external provider. The external content is therefore loaded only following your explicit action.

8. Cookies, analytics and marketing

VENTARES currently does not use its own web analytics, marketing tracking or third-party cookies for those purposes on this website. Technologies of the external provider may, however, be used after you voluntarily load YouTube content.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights including access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
